Micayla and Baileys Birthday Party Photos

As promised, here are the photos of the kids birthday parties. The following posts all contain the photos I've been waiting to access, but have been spoken about in the 'Catch Up" Post.

It was an Under the Sea disco party and Micayla as you can see is a mermaid along with nearly every other little girl that was there. Bailey's part of the party was Lightening McQueen.
Playing Pass the Parcel.
Thank you to Mel and Laura for doing the face painting. Gave me a break from all the kids.

Micayla really does LOVE having her face painted.

And here are the cakes. What a disaster. Micayla's is icecream and kept melting while I was decorating it and it looks disgusting and Bailey's cream didn't set properly. Tip, do not try and whip Coles no name brand cream, it doesn't work, not for piping anyway.

This is what the kids got for their birthday from us.
Micayla also got the 'Polar Express" DVD and they both got new helmets.
Sorry some of the photos are not turned around. I can't be bothered going back to fix it and reload them.

Photos of Micayla's Spider Bite

Isn't this gross. This is the surgery procedure when she had to have all the puss cut out. This was the next day after I'd taken the dressing off to redo it.

Allison Ellis Design Team Layout Photos

Now I have my fantastic new PC, as promised I can now share all the photos I couldn't before. I'll start with the Alison Ellis Design Team layouts I did for her to use at Paperific with her new Christmas range as well as some with the Garden Party Range.

If you look closely at this one you'll see the 'watermark' photo of Bailey printed on canvas paper under the 5x7 photo. It's actually the same phone on the canvas paper as the 5x7 photo.

This 'Family' one is her older Christmas range.

This one was done with her Christmas range but it's not a Christmas layout.

This is the layout I did for the Scrap Pile Guest Design Team back in October. It was a bit rushed and I was feeling a bit scrapped out after the AED layouts, so it's not one of my favs. I'm going to do something else to it. Maybe put another title to it???

I'm back online!!!

Yay!!! I'm back. I have my new PC finally up and running. I just love it. It's a tiny little tower with a humungeous Samsung 22 inch LCD Screen. I can see clearly now!!! Suffer Darren, mine's bigger than yours now, but that's not hard; ROFLMAO. Have a lot of playing to do so stay tuned. I'll be able to upload the photos that I promised now. Just give me time to sort it all out.

He's Finally Done It!!!!

Bailey is off the Training Wheels!!!

Adrian has been spending some time with Bailey to help him ride his bike without training wheels. He rode for quite a long way without them the other day so we decided not to put them back on at all. I just dropped Micayla off at a birthday party, which is just around the corner, so we walked. Bailey rode his bike all the way there. A little bit wobbly at times and fell off a couple of times, but he did it. Yay!!!

She's got the Bug!!!!

I just have to share. Micayla is standing here next to me making a mini book while I play on the forums. This is what she said:

"When I start Scrapbooking I just can't stop. I just want to keep going and going. I love my mini bike, it's fun, but I love scrapping more. When the flys bother me I go really really fast and they can't get me. But I just prefer to Scrap. I love it when it's a really yukky day cause I get to stay inside and just scrap scrap scrap."

She's just piped up and said, "and the best thing of all, I get my own scrap desk while Dad's away."

Yep.... She's addicted!!!!!

Fairy Park - Anneke

On Sunday, 25th November we took the kids all the way over to Anneke to visit the Fairy Park. It was only 16 degrees when we arrived there at lunch time. Luckily we'd taken some warmer clothes for the kids to change in to. We packed a picnic lunch and ate that as soon as we got there.
After lunch the kids wanted to play on the medieval playground called "Camelot". The playground was great and we almost had as much fun in there as the kids. We then walked around the fairy park to check out all the fairytale stories before going back to the playground to play some more.

The photo doesn't really show it but this slide was really really long.

Do you remember these??? I remember spinning around in one of these as a kid until I made Rochelle (my sister) spew ROFL!!! We all played in this one. Adrian was spinning it so fast that Micayla and I were screaming as girls do. Pretty silly thing to do after we just had lunch. But given that, I didn't feel sick; not until we came back to it later and played again after we'd walked around the fairy park.
These are some photos I took as we walked around the park.
This is Hansel and Gretel.
This one is Rupunzel
This one took us to Cinderella and Puss in Boots and I think Aladdin.
It was a great fun day, but a very long way to go. It took about an hour and a half to 2 hours to get there.

Advent Calendar

Well it's that time of year again. Time to bring out all the Christmas decorations and flick that switch so the streets are filled with Christmas lights.

Our tree went up yesterday. The kids and Adrian helped but I'm ordering them what to do. I'm fussy with how my tree looks. They were all ready to dump stuff everywhere. But I have a system. Lights first, then tinsel, then the string of sliver balls and they have a special way I put them on the tree. Adrian was starting to get annoyed and was ready to throw in the towel, but then I said OK, my parts done, now go for it. The 3 of them started hanging the decs anywhere and everywhere. That's OK, I just changed a few around later when they bunched too many of the same thing on the one branch LOL

I especially love their hand made decorations they so proudly hang in a prominant position. I never touch those ones, they stay where they are.

I always spend 2-3 days afterwards altering where the lights sit and adjust any decorations. I particularly worry about fire so I make sure every light is not touching any tinsel or tree branch.

My advent calendar is up on the cabinet and it looks really good, it has 2 santa chocolates in each pocket and a tag that says "How Many Sleeps" that they move along to the next pocket each morning. I'm inspired to make more of my own decs to hang around. Got some more stuff from Artypants this morning. As if I needed anymore Xmas scrapping to do after the AED layouts.

This is the Advent Calendar I made using the Alison Ellis Christmas range. Thanks to Pippa from Scrapbooking4less for the instructions and templates so I could put this together.

I'm a bit ahead of myself. We took the kids to the fairy park in Anneke last weekend. I usually like to post in date order but oh well, I'll put that in another post later.
